Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate civil engineering works for power infrastructure and utility projects.
- Ensure site activities comply with drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and applicable TAQA requirements.
- Coordinate substation civil works, including foundations, equipment plinths, cable trenches, duct banks, access roads, drainage, and related structures as applicable.
- Review civil drawings, construction details, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Monitor schedule progress, report delays and technical issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Ensure inspection and test plan, quality, and project-specific requirements are met.
- Coordinate site inspections, material approvals, and technical submissions.
- Ensure HSE compliance, maintain project records, and support testing, handover, and close-out.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant civil construction experience; substation, power infrastructure, or utility project experience is preferred.
- A valid TAQA competency, approval, or qualification relevant to the required civil engineering scope is essential.
- Knowledge of substation civil works, foundations, cable trenches, duct banks, and related infrastructure is preferred.
- Ability to interpret civil drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and utility clients; UAE project experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, site inspections, and HSE requirements.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation
- The posting states pay of AED 10,000–15,000 per month.
