Prepare accurate engineering drawings and documents for consultancy projects under the direction of discipline engineers, following project requirements and client standards.
Location and work arrangement
- The role is based in Doha, Qatar, and is in person.
Qualifications and experience
- A diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Electronics is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in Qatar or the GCC, is required.
- Experience preparing electrical panel drawings, control panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrument hook-up drawings is required.
- Experience in an engineering consultancy firm is preferred.
- Candidates currently based in Qatar with a valid QID are preferred.
Technical skills
- Technical skills listed are AutoCAD, ETAP, and INtools.
- The role involves engineering drawing preparation and revision, drawing registers, revision tracking, and document control.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and multidisciplinary coordination are emphasized.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate project drawings and documents under discipline engineers' direction.
- Prepare and revise electrical and instrumentation drawings.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision tracking, and document control.
- Coordinate across disciplines and follow project requirements and client standards.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 4,000–6,000 per month.
