The Role

What You'Ll Be Doing

• Oversee the day-to-day hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between all departments.
• Act as the Manager on Duty, responding promptly and professionally to guest concerns, feedback, and operational challenges.
• Lead by example to deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest service standards.
• Support Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other operational teams as required.
• Maintain a strong and visible presence in guest areas, ensuring service excellence at all times.
• Welcome and assist VIP guests, handling special requests with professionalism and discretion.
• Resolve guest complaints effectively and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
• Monitor hotel standards, cleanliness, presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate and respond to emergency situations, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests and team members.
• Prepare operational reports, handovers, and communicate key information between shifts.
• Support the training, coaching, and development of operational team members.

About You

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, or similar leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Proven experience working in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a calm and professional approach under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experience using hotel property management systems such as Opera or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest relations, and luxury hospitality standards.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and operational requirements.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams while fostering a positive working environment.
