Role overview

Driving and transportation

• Drive company vehicles safely as assigned and transport employees, equipment, materials, spare parts, tools and documents to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules and arrive on time at delivery, collection, workshop, site and other locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading and secure materials and equipment before transport.

Vehicle care and records

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checks of oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights and battery.
• Report breakdowns, damage, abnormal noise, warning indications and maintenance needs promptly.
• Keep the vehicle clean and operational and follow scheduled servicing and maintenance requirements.
• Record trips, deliveries, collections, fuel use and vehicle activities; handle required documents and obtain delivery or collection acknowledgements.

Safety and additional duties

• Follow UAE traffic laws, company driving procedures and site safety, access and security requirements.
• Report delays, accidents, breakdowns, delivery issues and traffic violations to the supervisor.
• Support urgent transportation needs and vehicle movement within yards, workshops and project sites.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, site personnel, suppliers and employees; perform other assigned transportation-related duties.

Requirements and qualifications

• Valid UAE driving licence for the required vehicle category.
• Minimum two years of relevant driving experience is preferred.
• Experience with UAE roads, construction sites, logistics or rental equipment operations is an advantage.
• Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance knowledge, good knowledge of UAE roads and ability to use GPS or navigation applications.
• Good communication and coordination skills; physically fit to assist with loading and unloading.
• Responsible, punctual, disciplined and safety-conscious.

Pay

• AED 1,800–2,500 per month.
