Role purpose

Prepare accurate technical drawings, layouts, and plans for construction and maintenance projects.

Work with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to translate designs into detailed drawings that meet project requirements and applicable UAE construction standards.

Drafting and design

  • Prepare technical drawings and designs using AutoCAD or other drafting software, including 2D and 3D drawings for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
  • Prepare and revise shop, detail, and as-built drawings; update them based on project team comments and requirements.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy and alignment with project specifications, and incorporate site changes and actual site conditions.

Coordination and documentation

  • Coordinate with project disciplines and site teams, review technical details, and help resolve drawing-related issues during execution.
  • Assist with material submittals and other technical documents when needed.
  • Maintain drawing and project records, including numbering, revision control, and document filing; meet required deadlines.

Compliance and information security

  • Ensure drawings meet applicable project, safety, quality, and UAE construction requirements.
  • Maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and project information and follow company information security procedures.

Qualifications and experience

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in construction, contracting, or maintenance.
  • Strong AutoCAD knowledge; experience preparing architectural, structural, or MEP drawings.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans; knowledge of shop drawings and as-built drawings.
  • Knowledge of 3D drafting software such as Revit or SketchUp is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with engineers and site teams.
  • UAE construction experience and immediate availability are preferred.

Pay and benefits

  • Pay is AED 4,000–5,000 per month, with salary based on experience and skills.
  • Accommodation and transportation are provided according to company policy.

Work location

  • Full-time, in-person work in Dubai, UAE.
