Role details

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation from sketches, specifications, and engineer instructions.
• Develop shop and as-built drawings to project, local authority, and consultant requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to prevent drawing inconsistencies and clashes.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision controls, and transmittals under document control procedures.
• Incorporate consultant, client, and authority comments and resubmit within agreed timelines.
• Follow CAD standards, layer conventions, and naming protocols; provide site teams with record drawings and mark-ups.

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• At least 3–5 years of building-construction drafting experience; UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory; Revit is preferred, and MS Office is listed.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, detailing standards, and local authority submission requirements.
• Ability to read structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Pay

• AED 3,000–8,000 per month.

Work arrangement

• Working conditions are described as site/office based with occasional site visits.
