Role summary

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation from sketches, specifications, and engineer instructions.
• Develop shop and as-built drawings in line with project specifications and local authority and consultant requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with engineers and other disciplines to maintain consistency and prevent clashes.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision controls, and transmittals; incorporate comments and resubmit on time.
• Follow CAD standards, layer conventions, and naming protocols, and support site teams with record drawings and mark-ups.

Qualifications and requirements

• Diploma or degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3–5 years of building-construction drafting experience; UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory; Revit is preferred, and MS Office proficiency is listed.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, detailing standards, and local authority submission requirements; ability to read structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage. Aldar project experience is preferred.
