DP Engineer

Role objective

Infrastructure support and security

• Provide first- and second-level support for servers, network devices, workstations, printers, and production systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems.
• Manage switches, firewalls, and VLANs, maintaining separation between card production and corporate networks.
• Apply patches and updates within defined service-level agreements and maintain system hardening standards.
• Run vulnerability scans, review findings, and track remediation within required timelines.
• Manage Active Directory user accounts and access rights; monitor systems, logs, and alerts and document or escalate security incidents.

Operations and audit support

• Maintain backups and regularly test restore procedures.
• Maintain asset inventories, network diagrams, and configuration documentation.
• Support data center environmental monitoring, cabling, and access logs.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on hardware, warranties, and support.
• Provide evidence for internal and external PCI, payment scheme, and ISO audits and close findings.

Required qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in a PCI, banking, or secure manufacturing environment is a strong plus.
• CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, or CompTIA Security+ certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of PCI CP or ISO 27001 requirements is preferred.
• Familiarity with virtualization, VMware or Hyper-V, backup solutions, monitoring tools, vulnerability management, and patching is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and attention to detail; good English and Arabic communication; integrity, security awareness, and teamwork.
