About The Opportunity

A dynamic logistics and trade solutions provider operating across the UAE, we specialize in end-to-end import-export operations, customs clearance, and supply chain documentation for global clients.

Our fast-paced, compliance-driven environment demands accuracy, agility, and meticulous attention to detail—especially when managing high-volume international trade documents, regulatory filings, and cross-border shipment records.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end document lifecycle: receive, validate, archive, retrieve, and dispatch import/export documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, COOs, and customs declarations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with UAE customs regulations, Free Zone rules, and international trade documentation standards (e.g., Incoterms, UCP600).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, clients, and internal departments to resolve document discrepancies and expedite clearance processes.
  • Maintain a centralized, searchable digital document repository with version control and audit trails using Document Management Systems (DMS) or ERP tools.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports on document status, pending approvals, and compliance gaps for senior management.
  • Support auditors and regulatory authorities with accurate, readily available documentation and maintain audit-ready filing systems.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Have
  • Document Management Systems (DMS) – SharePoint, DocuWare, or similar
  • ERP Systems – SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite

• UAE Customs Documentation Procedures

  • Trade Documentation (B/L, COO, Commercial Invoice, Packing List)

• MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Document Version Control & Audit Trail Management

• Digital Filing & Archiving Systems

  • Preferred
  • Experience with Free Zone documentation (e.g., DMCC, DAFZA, SAIF)
  • Knowledge of customs clearance automation platforms (e.g., Alef, eServices)
  • Basic Arabic language proficiency for customs forms or client correspondence
