Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized **Document Controller** with strong **Aconex** experience to manage and maintain project documentation for our ongoing and upcoming projects.
The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of all documents while supporting the project team in efficient document flow and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, upload, and maintain all project documentation in **Aconex**, ensuring proper workflows and approvals.
- Track and control the flow of documents (drawings, RFI, submittals, transmittals, correspondence, etc.).
- Ensure all documents are correctly filed, labeled, and archived according to company and project standards.
- Monitor deadlines for document submissions and follow up with internal teams and subcontractors.
- Generate reports from Aconex (metadata, registers, workflows, transmittals).
- Support project managers, engineers, and site teams with document retrieval and system queries.
- Maintain strict version control to avoid errors or outdated documentation.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and audit requirements.
- Assist with training team members on document control procedures and Aconex usage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a **Document Controller** in construction or engineering projects.
- **Hands-on experience with Aconex is mandatory.**
- Strong understanding of document control processes, workflows, and versioning.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to handle high-volume documentation and work within tight deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
