The employer seeks a Route Planner to optimize last-mile e-commerce delivery operations in Dubai.
Route planning and allocation
- Plan and optimize routes for drivers handling B2C shipments in Dubai, using knowledge of the local road network.
- Coordinate with drivers and helpers to allocate e-commerce orders by geographic area and delivery priority.
- Collaborate with the team to improve route allocations and delivery efficiency.
Dispatch, tracking, and customer support
- Verify accurate warehouse dispatch and promptly reassign incorrectly allocated orders to avoid delays or orders being left behind.
- Engage customer support and clients to address driver challenges and resolve delivery concerns in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report driver issues, track real-time delivery progress, and provide support for successful deliveries.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of last-mile delivery operations experience in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai's road network and routes.
- Proven route-planning and optimization experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to order dispatch accuracy.
