The posting describes a dispatcher/route-planning role supporting last-mile e-commerce delivery operations in Dubai.
Route planning and allocation
- Plan and optimize routes for drivers handling B2C shipments in Dubai.
- Allocate orders with drivers and helpers by geographical area and delivery priority.
- Collaborate with the team to improve route allocations and delivery efficiency.
Dispatch and delivery monitoring
- Verify warehouse dispatch accuracy and reassign incorrectly allocated orders to prevent delays or orders being left behind.
- Track drivers' real-time progress, monitor delivery issues, and provide support for timely deliveries.
Customer coordination
- Work with customer support and clients to resolve driver challenges and delivery-related concerns.
Requirements
- At least two years of last-mile delivery operations experience in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai's roads and routes, with proven route-planning and optimization experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills; adaptability to a fast-paced environment; and attention to dispatch accuracy.
