Director – Sales, HVAC Solutions

is responsible for leading the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the HVAC business.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership across all business verticals, including Sales, Projects, and Service & Maintenance Operations.

The position will oversee day-to-day operations, business development initiatives, financial performance, market expansion, strategic partnerships, and organizational development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term business sustainability while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all HVAC business operations, including Sales, Projects, Service & Maintenance Operations, and Business Development
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase market share, revenue, and profitability.
  • Support executive leadership in developing and implementing business strategies, annual operating plans, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, cost controls, and financial performance of the HVAC business unit.
  • Establish annual sales targets, business plans, and performance objectives across all operational functions.
  • Drive business development activities and identify new market opportunities, projects, products, services, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead commercial and technical teams to ensure achievement of sales, project delivery, and service excellence objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to strengthen market positioning.
  • Conduct regular business performance reviews and provide executive management with sales forecasts, operational reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and implement effective sales management processes, performance metrics, and KPI frameworks.
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and support functions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Strengthen service and aftermarket operations to drive recurring revenue and long-term customer retention.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, principals, consultants, contractors, developers, government entities, and key customers.
  • Evaluate and recommend new products, technologies, and business partnerships that support future growth.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives including CRM systems, sales analytics, customer engagement tools, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, ISO requirements, and risk management practices.
  • Develop organizational capabilities through leadership, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Review and optimize organizational structures, business processes, reporting frameworks, and performance management systems.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects assigned by executive leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • **Years of Experience:**
  • Minimum 15 years of experience within HVAC, engineering, mechanical services, or related industries.
  • Minimum 6–8 years in a senior leadership or executive management role.
  • **Education:**
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience managing HVAC sales, projects, service & maintenance operations, and related business functions.
  • Proven track record in business development, market expansion, and revenue growth.
  • Strong financial management expertise including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and cost control.
  • Experience managing large-scale commercial projects and complex customer portfolios.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving organizational performance.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, governance, and operational excellence practices.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.
  • MBA or postgraduate business qualification is considered an advantage.
