We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially astute
Director – FP&A
to lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management functions across a large, diversified group in Abu Dhabi.
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving financial insight, supporting strategic decision making, and ensuring strong financial discipline across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial planning across the group.
- Develop robust financial models to support strategic initiatives, investments, and business expansion.
- Establish and monitor key financial KPIs across business units.
- Deliver timely and accurate management reporting and variance analysis.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and capital allocation decisions.
- Conduct profitability, cost optimization, and pricing analysis.
- Support M&A activities, due diligence, and post-investment performance tracking where applicable.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility and decision-making.
- Maintain strong financial controls and governance across planning processes.
- Drive improvements in FP&A processes, tools, and systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or ACCA preferred.
- 15 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial strategy.
- Proven experience in large, diversified groups or complex multi-entity organizations.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial models, and BI/reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI).
