Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of the marketing strategy by working closely with internal stakeholders, managers, agency partners, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and services
• Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, and analysis
• Manage the conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer conversion and sales
• Conduct regular meetings with account managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, brainstorm solutions, and provide training to ensure the team consistently performs above standard
• Demonstrate strong understanding and experience managing PR and media-related events
• Develop new campaign products
• Work closely with strategic and brand partners to amplify the brand in the market
• Lead the digital strategy for the asset, driving digital performance results, including web, CRM, performance media, and managing agency-contracted deliverables
• Maintain a strong understanding of risk and governance relating to marketing campaigns and execution
• Lead the development of creative and innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media marketing, influencer marketing, email marketing, and traditional media (TV, print)
• Oversee media buying and ensure optimal allocation of the marketing budget across different channels for maximum reach and impact
• Develop and implement a strong SEO strategy to improve the visibility of the website in search engine results
• Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the online space
• Closely monitor guest feedback and sentiment to identify areas where the overall experience can be improved
• Provide coaching and mentorship to marketing team members, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability
• Build strong working relationships with other departments to ensure seamless collaboration and a unified approach to marketing
• Supervise and handle administrative tasks such as campaign evaluation, generating necessary reports, conducting technical reviews, and responding to audit observations, among others
• Prepare and control the approved OPEX marketing budget
• Lead and inspire the organization's vision and mission

Qualifications And Experience

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Should demonstrate a proven track record in integrated marketing communications, media and advertising, and public relations, ideally within the hospitality, travel, tourism, retail, leisure, or entertainment industry. Strong contacts with media, PR, and advertising agencies, as well as tour operators.
• In-depth knowledge of major partners, media partners and trends, brand management, events management, and PR
• Strong skillset managing agencies
• Strong knowledge of digital media and data-driven analysis
• Proven experience managing digital platforms (web/app/CRM)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong people leader and team player
