Enables automation, real-time operational insight, data-driven decisions, digital operations, and management of industrial technology risk.
Strategy and delivery
- Set enterprise strategy and roadmaps for OT architecture, cloud, edge, connectivity, and industrial technology in alignment with enterprise priorities.
- Establish standards, governance, and lifecycle principles for scalable and resilient industrial technology across sites.
- Translate operational priorities and maturity gaps into transformation initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Modernize and standardize PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES, LIMS, and historian environments.
- Improve reliability, availability, interoperability, and lifecycle performance of systems supporting mining and processing.
- Enable resilient cloud, edge, hosting, and connectivity, with dependable data exchange across industrial and enterprise systems.
- Build foundations for automation, advanced analytics, remote operations, and autonomous operating models.
- Enable secure OT data flows into enterprise, cloud, and Data & AI environments and improve monitoring and proactive management.
- Govern OT architecture, controls, cybersecurity dependencies, obsolescence, lifecycle requirements, and technology risks.
- Direct enterprise modernization and establish KPIs for availability, reliability, resilience, and maturity.
- Align Operations, IT, Data & AI, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Innovation on integrated roadmaps.
- Lead multidisciplinary capability and advise executives on technology priorities, investments, risks, and strategic partnerships.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Master’s degree in Electrical, Control, Industrial, or Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in operational technology, industrial automation, infrastructure, or industrial technology.
- Significant experience leading enterprise-scale OT modernization, systems integration, connectivity, or cloud and edge transformation.
- Strong experience with industrial environments using SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, LIMS, historians, and networked production technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary technical teams and complex transformation initiatives across enterprise and operational environments.
