Overview

A growing investment-focused organisation is seeking an experienced commercial professional to support business growth, develop strategic relationships, and expand its network across key investor and corporate channels.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, helping to identify new opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to long-term growth initiatives across a dynamic platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to support business growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, strategic partners, and professional investors.
  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities across target markets.
  • Support capital raising, partnership development, and broader business development initiatives where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to bring opportunities from initial engagement through to execution.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Develop tailored presentations, proposals, and commercial materials for prospective stakeholders.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and provide regular market intelligence and commercial insights.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive developments to identify areas for growth.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and support senior management in achieving commercial objectives.

Candidate Profile

  • 10–15 years of experience within business development, strategic partnerships, investor relations, corporate development, financial services, consulting, or a related commercial function.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, originate, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of investment and financial markets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to developing opportunities and building networks.
