crisis management, logistics optimization, and procurement activities

This role plays a key part in ensuring continuity of supply, improving efficiency, and stabilizing operations across multiple regions.
Supply Chain Crisis Management
- Support leadership in managing supply chain disruptions and implementing alternative supply strategies
- Coordinate shipment activities, including rerouting and tracking, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
- Drive stock optimization initiatives, including consolidation of warehousing operations
- Assist in product allocation during crisis scenarios and monitor daily KPIs related to delivery performance and cost
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across stakeholders during high-pressure situations
Procurement & Category Support (Logistics & Warehousing)
- Support procurement activities across logistics and warehousing categories
- Contribute to sourcing strategies and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Assist in end-to-end tender processes, including supplier coordination, bid evaluation, and contract support
- Participate in supplier negotiations and contract preparation under guidance
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Performance & Compliance
- Ensure timely availability of goods and services in line with operational needs
- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and cost targets to drive performance improvements
- Adhere to company policies related to compliance, ethics, and regulatory standards
- Follow all health, safety, security, environment, and quality (HSSEQ)
Requirements
- Report risks, incidents, and compliance issues promptly
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams across multiple regions and functions
- Engage with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations
- Support cross-functional coordination to maintain continuity of supply
Candidate Profile
- Experience in
- supply chain operations, logistics, or procurement
- Strong understanding of
- warehousing, transportation, and supplier management
- Exposure to
- tendering, contract support, or sourcing activities
- Ability to work in
- fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- , especially during disruptions
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
