Investment Director – Real Estate

About This Role

A leading and well-capitalised real estate platform in Saudi Arabia is seeking to appoint an Investment Director to play a key role in driving investment strategy, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio growth. This is a senior position working closely with executive leadership on high-impact, large-scale real estate initiatives aligned with Vision 2030.

Role Overview

The Investment Director will be responsible for originating, evaluating, and executing real estate investment opportunities across a diversified portfolio. The role combines investment strategy, deal execution, capital structuring, and portfolio oversight, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Strategy & Origination

• Support the development and execution of the overall investment strategy
• Identify and assess new investment opportunities across real estate asset classes
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of acquisitions, developments, and partnerships

Transaction Execution

• Lead end-to-end deal execution including financial modelling, due diligence, and valuation
• Structure transactions including joint ventures, partnerships, and financing arrangements
• Negotiate commercial terms with investors, developers, and stakeholders

Capital Structuring & Partnerships

• Support capital raising initiatives across equity and debt
• Work closely with financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners
• Contribute to the structuring of investment vehicles and funding strategies

Portfolio & Asset Management

• Oversee performance of existing assets and investments
• Drive value creation initiatives including optimisation, repositioning, and exit strategies
• Monitor financial and operational performance against targets

Strategic & Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
• Prepare investment memoranda, business cases, and board-level materials
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution

Experience

• 10–15+ years of experience in real estate investments, private equity, asset management, or related fields
• Strong track record in executing real estate transactions within the GCC, preferably Saudi Arabia
• Experience across the full investment lifecycle (origination to exit)

Technical Skills

• Advanced financial modelling and investment analysis capabilities
• Strong understanding of real estate markets, development processes, and capital structuring
• Experience with joint ventures, funds, or structured financing is highly desirable
