Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise BIM strategy across development, design, construction, and operations.
• Establish BIM governance, standards, protocols, templates, and quality assurance.
• Lead implementation across major capital projects and ensure compliance.
• Integrate BIM with CDEs, GIS, digital twins, asset information systems, and project management tools.
• Oversee execution planning, model management, information management, and data governance.
• Coordinate with development, design, engineering, construction, project controls, operations, and technology teams.
• Monitor BIM maturity, compliance, metrics, and portfolio implementation effectiveness.
• Develop BIM training, capability, and knowledge-sharing programs; evaluate emerging technologies.
• Advise on BIM in procurement and contractor or consultant selection; manage budgets, resources, and providers.
• Represent the organization in relevant industry forums, committees, and stakeholder engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Digital Engineering, Information Management, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in BIM, digital engineering, design management, project delivery, or construction technology.
• Experience leading BIM implementation on large-scale real estate, infrastructure, mixed-use, or mega-development projects.
• Experience developing BIM standards, governance frameworks, and digital delivery strategies.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and implementing BIM technologies and information management systems.
• Experience advising senior leadership on digital delivery strategy, BIM maturity, and innovation.
• BuildingSMART, PMP, RICS, Autodesk Professional, ISO 19650, or equivalent certification preferred.
