Solution design and proposals
- Obtain and negotiate dated delivery, operations, partner and OEM estimates before anything is proposed.
- Author technical and commercial proposals, including pricing structures, cost cases and estimates of record.
- Design end-to-end solutions across the du Tech portfolio and partner ecosystem.
- Design solutions to UAE federal, emirate and industry regulatory requirements and state the compliance position.
- Recommend one evidence-supported solution based on client evaluation criteria.
- Design revenue, milestone and consumption profiles and prepare paid proofs of value where needed.
- Explain solutions so non-technical executives can repeat them accurately.
Post-award and AI
- Provide delivery oversight as the client's technical advisor and escalate deviations from the agreed design.
- Advise clients on how artificial intelligence changes business processes, costs and customer experience.
- Design artificial intelligence solutions covering data readiness, model choice and operating cost.
- Create reusable sales plays, reference architectures, blueprints and estimation models.
Alloy specialization
- Design National HyperCloud Alloy architectures across compute, network, storage, security and management.
- Maintain the documented Alloy technical position, including realm architecture, tenancy, permitted shapes and isolation.
- Prepare competitive responses against AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Oracle.
- Deploy to client premises after award to support consumption of contracted capacity.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical field.
- Current certification in cloud, security or architecture from a recognized vendor or body.
- At least 5 years of presales, solution architecture or technical consulting experience on enterprise and government pursuits.
- Experience designing multi-vendor end-to-end solutions and holding the integrator position.
- Experience negotiating partner and OEM scope and pricing.
- Practical, current use of artificial intelligence in solution design and proposal work.
- Experience supporting engagements through delivery.
- Ability to translate technical positions into executive business cases.
- Commercial literacy in cost stacks, margin, consumption economics and total cost of ownership.
