Key accountabilities
- Lead project management, design execution, and delivery within cost, timeline, and quality parameters.
- Develop design strategies for innovative, sustainable, and functional spaces aligned with organizational vision.
- Oversee conceptual layouts and visual schemes using design software, meeting business, branding, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee RFPs, tender documentation, and contractor prequalification in accordance with FIDIC contracts and local regulations.
- Lead coordination with MEP, facilities management, operations, IT, branding, and technology teams.
- Build partnerships with consultants, vendors, and contractors to support quality work and effective resource utilization.
- Conduct site visits and assess contractors’ capabilities and compliance with design and safety requirements.
- Drive value engineering and cost-effective design alternatives without compromising quality or aesthetics.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for design and project execution.
- Promote project and contract management best practices and compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
- Mentor talent in modular construction, generative design, and circular economy principles.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or civil engineering from an accredited NAAB or CEAB program.
- Over 12 years of project management, design, and construction experience, including at least 5 years in leadership.
- Leadership experience overseeing Class A office towers, flagship retail, or mission-critical facilities.
- Experience managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
Skills
- Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Project, and other design or project management software.
- Expert knowledge of engineering standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Deep understanding of health and safety regulations, civil defense requirements, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting and cost control on large-scale projects.
Preferred qualifications
- A master’s degree in construction management or sustainable design is preferred.
- PMP, LEED AP, or WELL AP certification is preferred.
