Developer III role for a Java and Oracle system in the supply chain domain.
The position combines software development, application support, maintenance, enhancements, projects, change requests, and upgrades.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience in Oracle and Java platforms.
- Experience with both development and support and active involvement in the end-to-end SDLC.
- BE educational qualification.
- Ability to work independently in a process-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work the stated shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Mandatory and Core Skills
- Oracle PL/SQL.
- Linux Red Hat and shell scripting.
- Oracle 19c with AWS RDS.
- Java software development.
- Application support and maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate as an individual contributor in all project phases.
- Analyze business requirements and design, plan, and develop solutions.
- Understand system architecture and support technology upgrade activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on business objectives and functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform day-to-day application support and maintenance.
- Lead projects and guide team members.
Work Schedule
- The stated shift timing is 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Project Environment
The Java application is hosted on an AWS Linux Red Hat server using JBOSS.
The backend database is AWS Oracle RDS.
The system is tightly coupled and integrated with other systems in the supply chain platform.
