Job Summary

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our Agile team ensuring the quality of our claims and rebate management platform. The role involves manual testing (functional regression integration and DB) alongside REST/SOAP API testing with payment gateways ERP systems and vendor portals. You will be responsible for creating and managing anonymized test datasets in compliance with data regulations while validating financial dashboards reports and audit logs for accuracy.
• Design and develop robust SOAP services that support critical business transactions and ensure reliable data exchange across enterprise applications.
• Implement scalable Rest API endpoints that follow industry best practices for security performance and maintainability while supporting diverse client applications.
• Build and enhance Qlik SaaS dashboards and visualizations that turn complex data sets into clear insights for business and operations teams.
• Optimize API and Qlik SaaS solutions for performance by analyzing usage patterns tuning queries and refining data models to reduce latency and resource consumption.
• Collaborate with product owners business analysts and testers to refine user stories clarify technical requirements and deliver functionality that matches business outcomes.
• Integrate SOAP and Rest API solutions with existing systems by designing consistent request and response structures and managing data transformations effectively.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation for APIs data contracts and Qlik SaaS assets to support reuse troubleshooting and onboarding of new team members.
• Conduct unit and integration testing of SOAP services and Rest APIs to validate functional behavior error handling and compatibility across environments.
• Monitor production services and Qlik SaaS dashboards using agreed tools identify incidents proactively and support timely resolution to minimize business impact.
• Apply secure development practices for SOAP and Rest solutions by managing authentication authorization and data protection in alignment with organizational standards.
• Participate in code reviews and peer discussions to improve code quality share knowledge on integration patterns and encourage continuous improvement within the team.
• Support deployment activities in day shifts for hybrid working teams by preparing deployment scripts validating changes in lower environments and coordinating with operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to API design Qlik SaaS usage and development workflows that increase efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• Possess professional experience of three to six years as a developer working on integration and analytics projects within medium or large scale environments.
• Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in designing building and consuming SOAP based web services including request response handling and fault management.
• Exhibit solid experience in creating Rest APIs using common frameworks with focus on structured resource design and consistent status code usage.
• Show practical experience with Qlik SaaS including data loading model creation and dashboard design tailored to stakeholder reporting needs.
• Apply sound understanding of JSON and XML formats data mapping techniques and integration patterns that ensure accurate and reliable data flows.
• Utilize proficiency in writing efficient queries and working with relational or cloud data sources that feed APIs and Qlik SaaS visualizations.
• Display familiarity with version control tools branching strategies and collaborative development practices used in hybrid agile teams.
• Demonstrate ability to analyze functional requirements estimate development effort and break work into manageable tasks that align with sprint goals.
• Communicate effectively with cross functional teams present technical options in clear language and incorporate feedback from diverse stakeholders.
• Show awareness of secure coding practices for integrations including input validation rate control approaches and protection of sensitive information.
• Adapt quickly to new tools or cloud services related to Qlik SaaS integration monitoring or automated testing in a dynamic enterprise setting.
• Prefer exposure to API management platforms or gateways that support throttling routing and observability for SOAP and Rest based services.
