Company

Omrania’s portfolio includes prominent regional landscape and planning projects, from historic and cultural spaces to a major urban park.

The company describes a strong regional project pipeline and opportunities for professional growth.

Role

Lead day-to-day management and coordination of landscape and public-realm design from early concept through detailed and IFC delivery.

Ensure design excellence, commercial control, and interdisciplinary integration.

Design management and leadership

  • Deliver assigned projects within approved time, fee, and quality parameters; monitor fee use, scope changes, resources, deliverables, and risks.
  • Contribute to sub-consultant procurement, scope definition, and performance assessment; prepare proposals and design budgets.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary landscape, irrigation, BIM, visualization, CAD, and environmental teams; delegate tasks and monitor progress.
  • Implement QA/QC and peer reviews; coordinate civil, MEP, and infrastructure needs and promote sustainability, accessibility, and safety-in-design.
  • Represent the landscape discipline in client and consultant meetings; prepare project reports and maintain formal records, change logs, trackers, and risk registers.

Technical design and delivery

  • Oversee design delivery plans, reports, drawings, hardscape and softscape packages, irrigation and grading plans, planting strategies, sustainability narratives, and material schedules.
  • Ensure tender and IFC documents align with authority standards, contract scope, current codes, and sustainable design practices.
  • Lead BIM integration with Revit LA, Civil 3D, and Navisworks, maintaining model accuracy, coordination, and LOD compliance.
  • Review sub-consultant deliverables and coordinate with architecture, structures, MEP, infrastructure, and interior design teams.
  • Coordinate specifications, BOQs, and cost schedules with quantity surveyors and specification writers; support value engineering, tender evaluation, and site support.

Communication and department operations

  • Lead client presentations, design workshops, and coordination reviews; explain technical information clearly and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and authorities.
  • Report schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation to management; coordinate programme and risk reporting with project managers.
  • Participate in QA reviews and knowledge sharing; support internal standards, templates, digital workflows, continuing professional development, and team feedback.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and contribute to client satisfaction and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognized university is required.
  • At least 15 years of total experience, including at least 3 years in a design-management capacity within the GCC.
  • Comprehensive understanding of landscape design principles, construction techniques, and regional authority codes.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale public-realm projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit LA, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Project, and BIM 360.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; ability to manage budgets, prioritize workloads, and deliver under pressure.
  • Professional accreditation or eligibility such as CMLI, ASLA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic where applicable.
