SELECTED is working with a leading real estate investment and development group to recruit a Design Manager for a high-profile luxury hospitality project in the region.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine design coordination with hands-on project delivery on one of the most prestigious developments currently underway in the GCC.

The successful candidate will bring a balance of design expertise and project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering luxury hospitality projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee design stages from schematic through to construction documentation and final delivery
  • Coordinate with appointed architects, interior designers, consultants and contractors to maintain design quality
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and coordinate FF&E technical specifications
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure design intent is translated accurately into construction
  • Act as a central point of contact between the developer, design teams, operator and other stakeholders
  • Manage authority and permit processes with relevant government bodies

What We'Re Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture, Interior Design or a related design field
  • 4 plus years of combined experience in design and project delivery, ideally within luxury hospitality
  • Proven track record delivering hotel or resort projects from design through to handover
  • Strong understanding of FF&E specifications, construction drawings and on-site execution
  • Experience coordinating with luxury hotel operators
  • Experience working across international markets advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and reporting skills
