Responsibilities

• Coordinate design from concept through detailed design, tender, construction, and handover; manage multidisciplinary consultant coordination and lead design meetings.
• Review design packages for completeness, coordination, and constructability, including wellness layouts, equipment, and supplier integrations.
• Coordinate saunas, steam rooms, hammams, thermal suites, vitality pools, treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and high-end fit-out packages.
• Review shop drawings, technical submissions, samples, and mock-ups; support site teams with RFIs, design clarifications, and construction coordination.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve design issues, and coordinate communication among clients, consultants, operators, suppliers, and project teams.

Experience requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Design Coordination, Architecture, Interior Design, or Design Management.
• At least 5 years of dedicated Spa & Wellness project experience.
• Proven luxury hospitality, wellness resort, destination spa, or high-end fit-out delivery experience; experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and specialist consultants.
• Experience with specialist wellness facilities and working with luxury hotel operators, wellness consultants, and spa suppliers.
• Experience supporting projects through design development, construction, commissioning, and handover. GCC project experience is highly desirable.

Knowledge and skills

• Strong understanding of Spa & Wellness design requirements, luxury hospitality, premium fit-out, technical detailing, construction documentation, and design development.
• Knowledge of architectural, interior, MEP, structural, and specialist consultant design packages; joinery, finishes, FF&E, and luxury interiors.
• Ability to review and coordinate shop drawings and technical submittals; strong stakeholder management, presentation, communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; understanding of hospitality standards and wellness facility requirements.
