Support the Planning Manager in developing, monitoring, and updating schedules for large-scale projects.
Align project activities with timelines, resources, and deliverables, and manage planning activities when the Planning Manager is absent.
Planning and monitoring
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Prepare short- and long-term plans and update schedules as progress or project scope changes.
- Track progress against approved schedules, analyze delays and deviations, and identify root causes.
- Recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays and improve performance.
- Forecast completion dates and update critical-path information.
Reporting and coordination
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for senior management and provide dashboards and KPI analysis.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Support timely delivery of resources and materials in line with schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of project planning and scheduling experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong project controls knowledge, including critical path analysis, monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Understanding of project management, contracts, and resource allocation.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and presentation skills; effective communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
- PMP, PSP, or equivalent project-planning certification is preferred.
