Deputy Finance Manager – Roads & Bridges

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Finance Manager to support financial operations for large-scale Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, cost control, and compliance while ensuring alignment with project and organizational financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing all financial activities for Roads & Bridges projects
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance
• Ensure accurate accounting, financial controls, and compliance with regulations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making
• Coordinate with project managers and department heads on financial planning
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements
• Manage invoicing, payments, and receivables related to projects
• Support risk management and cost optimization initiatives

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 7–12 years of experience in finance, preferably within construction / infrastructure (Roads & Bridges)
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles
• Experience in project-based financial management
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
