Patient care and clinical support
- Prepare patients for procedures, record medical histories and vital signs, and explain oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Provide empathetic support, especially for patients with dental anxiety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, assist dentists with fillings, extractions, root canals, and cleanings, and keep the operatory organized and stocked.
- Take dental X-rays and process images as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidentiality and privacy.
- Handle patient inquiries and calls, coordinate follow-up care, and assist with billing, insurance claims, and administration.
- Follow infection-control and sterilization practices, clean and disinfect equipment, assist in medical emergencies, and collaborate with the dental team.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with valid credentials and licences; DHA Eligibility is requested.
- At least one year of dental-clinic experience is required.
- Dental procedure assistance and radiography proficiency are a plus.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, infection-control knowledge, and ability to work efficiently in a changing, fast-paced clinic.
- Compassionate patient-care approach and basic computer skills for records and administrative tasks.
- Dental implants experience is highly recommended.
Employment and pay
- Job Type: Full-time.
- The description lists AED 3,500–5,000 per month and separately states pay from AED 4,000 per month.
