Develop accurate demand forecasts, analyze sales trends, and align demand signals with supply chain capacity.
Coordinate with commercial and supply chain teams, optimize inventory, and improve forecast accuracy to support growth and customer service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop baseline forecasts using historical statistical data, market trends, and seasonal patterns.
- Lead planning meetings with Sales, Marketing, Retail, and Supply Chain to align volume forecasts.
- Monitor Forecast Accuracy and Bias, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate new product introductions, promotions, and product phase-in and phase-out plans with Marketing.
- Analyze sales trends, customer order patterns, and channel-specific demand to refine forecasting models.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics reports for management decisions.
- Align forecasts with production and inventory plans in coordination with Supply Planning and Procurement.
- Monitor depot and channel stock to prevent stockouts and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Maintain demand planning master data in Microsoft Dynamics.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis; FMCG, retail, or food and beverage experience is preferred.
- Full fluency in spoken and written English.
- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics ERP experience is a must.
- Strong Power BI and Microsoft Excel proficiency for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong understanding of forecasting methods, S&OP processes, and inventory metrics.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
