Key Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from the assigned iMile warehouse or hub
- Deliver packages to customers within assigned delivery routes and timeframes
- Ensure accurate scanning, tracking, and proof of delivery (POD) using mobile applications
- Handle Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions when required
- Verify customer details before delivery and obtain signatures or digital confirmation
- Maintain daily delivery records and report any failed deliveries or issues
- Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines at all times
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition (if applicable)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license (Light Vehicle preferred for car drivers / Motorcycle license for bike riders)
- Basic knowledge of UAE roads and delivery areas
- Ability to use smartphone apps for navigation and scanning
- Physically fit and able to handle parcel loading/unloading
- Good communication skills and customer service attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery targets
- Previous delivery or courier experience is an advantage
Working Conditions
- 6 days per week (depending on operational needs)
- Field-based role with daily route assignments
- Performance-based incentives may apply
