Permanent Dedicated Relief Security Officer role with Anchor Group Services at St Johns Shopping Centre in Liverpool.

Duties
- Protect client property, people, and assets in line with site assignment instructions and procedures.
- Patrol the shopping centre and monitor activity to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Report irregularities, prevent loss and damage, and inform offenders of applicable policies.
- Respond to incidents and escalate serious matters to the control room, managers, or emergency services.
- Operate and monitor CCTV and accurately record observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Provide professional first-line assistance to customers and visitors and respond to their queries and requests.
- Maintain professional conduct and comply with legal requirements.
Requirements
- Full five-year checkable employment history.
- Valid frontline SIA licence, DS or SG.
- Customer service experience and confidence handling conflict appropriately.
- Flexible availability across varied days and shifts, including weekends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual, able to work in a fast-moving environment, with a smart and well-groomed appearance.
- Reliable transport is essential for early starts, which may be as early as 6 a.m.
- CCTV experience is preferred but not essential; training is provided.
Pay
- Pay is £13.25 per hour.
Working hours
- 20 hours per week on a fully flexible rota, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Location
- Based at St Johns Shopping Centre, St George's Place, Liverpool, L1 1LY.
