Job Title: Oracle & MS Database Administrator (Bilingual – Arabic/English)

Location: Doha, Qatar

Experience: 3–5 Years

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Oracle & MS Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Arabic/English), with hands-on experience in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases
  • Monitor database performance, implement tuning, and ensure optimal efficiency
  • Manage database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and migrations of database systems
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
  • Work closely with application teams to support database requirements
  • Automate routine database tasks and maintenance activities
  • Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies
  • Support high availability solutions such as clustering, replication, and failover setups

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in database administration
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or later)
  • Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019 or later)
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, SQL Server Backup)
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
  • Familiarity with high availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, Always On)
  • Understanding of database security best practices
  • Experience with scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Microsoft SQL Certification
  • Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud)
  • Exposure to automation tools and DevOps practices
