Role overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with business executives and departments to deliver advanced data science solutions for implementation.
• Design, test, and launch complex analytical models using data-mining techniques on structured and unstructured data.
• Develop data-mining and collection procedures; ensure data quality and integrity; and analyze data problems.
• Conceive, plan, and prioritize data projects; build analytical systems, predictive models, and AI capabilities.
• Test data-driven product performance and experiment with new models and techniques.
• Visualize data, create reports, and present findings to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Develop big data capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytical initiatives.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 7 years of experience in data science roles.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as data science, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
• Banking or fintech experience is preferred.
• Certifications in Python, R, SQL, AI, or machine learning are nice to have.
• Strong data analytics and data management knowledge; data science and advanced analytical techniques, including AI and machine learning in banking, are identified as success factors.
