Data Officer And General Administrator

The Data Officer / General Administrator plays a key role in supporting both front office operations and student data management.

This position is responsible for ensuring a welcoming and efficient reception environment while maintaining accurate and secure student records.

This is a critically important role, primarily responsible for overseeing and maintaining the school’s complete student database, ensuring accuracy, organization, and secure management of all student records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front office duties, including greeting visitors professionally and directing them according to their needs.
  • Provide clear and timely information to parents, staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure reception tasks are handled efficiently to support the smooth functioning of academic and administrative operations.
  • Work under the direction of the Registrar; workload may vary in intensity throughout the academic year.
  • Maintain and manage accurate student data and records, ensuring all files are up to date and securely stored.
  • Oversee and manage the school’s student database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
  • Flexible and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer literate, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and excellence.
  • Ability to analyze numerical data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Understanding of the UK Data Protection Act and its implications for handling school data.

Requirement

  • Candidates must be locally available in Qatar.
