Duties and Responsibilities
- Upkeep and general care of the School.
- Make emergency repairs.
- Cleaning and tidying of the internal School building in designated areas.
- General maintenance and minor repair work.
- General porterage duties and moving of furniture.
- Assisting teaching staff with simple tasks as requested.
- Preparation of classrooms and halls for functions as required.
- Noting, monitoring and reporting any defects of building, furniture, fittings and equipment to Facility Manager.
- Allow access to any contractor who may be working on site and monitoring the work of contractors, in School holidays or weekends.
- Opening and closing, unlocking and locking of School gates and buildings.
- Open and close School for evenings use at times arranged by teaching staff and confirmed by Facility Manager.
- Unsetting and setting of School alarm system.
- Checking and securing School premises.
- Distribution of mail.
- Assisting staff with copying and scanning tasks.
- Any other work requested by and deemed appropriate by Facility Manager and in agreement with caretaker.
Requirements
- Must have a valid QID
- Must be locally available and can join immediately.

- School: 3 years (Preferred)
