Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Data Analyst Intern
to join our team in a high-impact capacity.
In this role, you will provide critical analytical support to the
executive leadership team
, helping translate complex data into the strategic insights that drive our brand’s regional growth.
This is a unique opportunity to see how data influences top-level decision-making in the luxury retail sector.
Key Responsibilities
- **Data Preparation:**
- Assist in extracting, cleaning, and structuring data from multiple sources (sales records, customer databases, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
- **Reporting & Dashboards:**
- Support the creation and maintenance of weekly/monthly reports and automated dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- **Insight Generation:**
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in retail performance.
- **Ad-hoc Analysis:**
- Support various business units with "one-off" data requests and research projects as needed.
- **Collaboration:**
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and present findings in a clear, digestible format.
What We Are Looking For
- **Educational Background:**
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
- (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g.,
Power BI
or
Tableau
- ) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of
SQL
or
Python/R
- for data manipulation is preferred but not mandatory.
- An analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive "self-starter" attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- **Market Knowledge:**
- An interest in the luxury retail or fashion industry and the GCC market dynamics.
