Data Analytics Intern

About This Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our team in a high-impact capacity. In this role, you will provide critical analytical support to the executive leadership team , helping translate complex data into the strategic insights that drive our brand’s regional growth. This is a unique opportunity to see how data influences top-level decision-making in the luxury retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Preparation: Assist in extracting, cleaning, and structuring data from multiple sources (sales records, customer databases, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Support the creation and maintenance of weekly/monthly reports and automated dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Insight Generation: Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in retail performance.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Support various business units with "one-off" data requests and research projects as needed.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and present findings in a clear, digestible format.

What We Are Looking For

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau ) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or Python/R for data manipulation is preferred but not mandatory.
• An analytical mindset with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive "self-starter" attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Market Knowledge: An interest in the luxury retail or fashion industry and the GCC market dynamics.
