The analyst will work with departments to analyze performance, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations that support business decisions, efficiency, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources; validate data quality and investigate discrepancies.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to monitor business performance and key metrics.
- Analyze trends, patterns, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement; use statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, monitor KPIs, and recommend ways to improve operational efficiency.
- Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable data insights.
- Maintain and optimize databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems; automate recurring reports and data processes.
- Collaborate on business planning and strategic initiatives, and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on data analytics tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis functions; knowledge of SQL for data extraction, querying, and database management.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills; ability to interpret complex datasets and produce actionable insights.
- Understanding of statistics, data trends, and performance measurement; high attention to data accuracy and quality.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
- A bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous reporting, business intelligence, or data-driven decision-making experience is an advantage.
