Responsibilities
- Monitor systems and networks for security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Protect systems and data from breaches and cyberattacks.
- Track and analyze security incidents and take appropriate response measures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and security alerts.
- Help raise security awareness among employees.
- Prepare reports on security incidents and risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Practical experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Good knowledge of network security concepts and operating systems.
- Familiarity with security tools and techniques such as Firewall, VPN, SIEM, or IDS/IPS.
- Ability to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities and respond accordingly.
- Proficiency in English.
Preferred certifications
- Security+, CEH, or CISSP certifications are preferred based on experience level.
