Responsibilities and duties
- Receive insurance claims and policy requests by mail, telephone, or in person while operating multiple computer applications.
- Respond to policyholders, providers, and others seeking information and assistance.
- Research inquiries and interpret policy provisions to determine effective responses.
- Follow departmental procedures, HIPAA regulations, and corporate policies when responding.
- Independently handle routine-to-moderate inquiries, grievances, complaints, and appeals; seek help with complex customer-service issues.
- Mail or route claim forms and supporting documents to units for final processing.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required.
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese is mandatory.
- The role calls for organization, time management, customer focus, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- The candidate should be comfortable with metrics, measurements, reports, and operations.
- The candidate should communicate clearly with varied audiences, work independently and in a team, and perform in a high-volume, fast-paced call center.

Pay and employment
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Pay is AED 6,500 per month.
