Interact effectively with healthcare professionals and provide accurate responses using computer-based resources.
Responsibilities and duties
- Receive claim and policy requests by mail, telephone, or in person while using multiple computer applications.
- Respond to policyholders, providers, and others with information and assistance.
- Research inquiries and interpret policy provisions to determine appropriate responses.
- Mail or route claim forms and supporting documents to the relevant units for processing.
- Handle routine to moderately complex inquiries, grievances, complaints, and appeals independently; seek help with complex cases.
- Follow departmental procedures, HIPAA regulations, and corporate policies when researching and responding.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is mandatory.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required.
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a paramedical field, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills are required.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced call centre and independently as well as with a team.
- Customer-centric orientation, process improvement focus, and operational efficiency awareness are required.
- Working proficiency with metrics, measurements, reports, and operations is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly with varied audiences and interpret policy provisions is required.
Workplace
- The job is performed in person.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 6,000–6,500 per month.
