CSA Engineer

• to join our Data Center Implementation team.
• He/ she will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and assuring civil engineering designs and planning inputs that enable the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of data center and critical infrastructure projects.
• The role ensures that civil designs are technically robust, constructible, and fully aligned with site conditions, geotechnical constraints, regulatory requirements, construction phasing, and long-term operational needs.
• Some of their key accountabilities will be as follows:
• **Civil Design Development & Technical Assurance**
• Develop, review, and coordinate civil engineering designs including site layout, grading, earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements, foundations, and external works.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, authority requirements, and project specifications.
• Review consultant and contractor civil submissions for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
• **Geotechnical, Flood & Site Risk Integration**
• Coordinate geotechnical investigations, reports, and recommendations into civil design solutions.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to soil conditions, settlement, groundwater, and earthworks stability.
• Integrate flood risk assessments, stormwater management, and climate resilience measures into site designs.
• **Planning, Phasing & Constructability**
• Align civil design deliverables with construction sequencing, phasing plans, and project schedules.
• Support planning of enabling works and temporary works including access roads, platforms, dewatering, and temporary drainage.
• **Utility, External Works & Off-Site Coordination**
• Coordinate civil interfaces with utilities, road authorities, and off-site infrastructure providers.
• Ensure alignment of site access, utility corridors, and external works with authority and project requirements.
• Support planning and approval of permanent and temporary utility connections.
• **Regulatory, Authority & Permitting Support**
• **Integrated Coordination, Delivery & Governance**
• **Minimum eligibility requirements and key competencies:**
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in data centres, infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale developments.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
• 5–8 years of experience in civil design and planning roles.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge including earthworks, drainage, roads, and foundations.
• Understanding of geotechnical principles and flood/stormwater management.
• Ability to interpret and produce civil drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Familiarity with planning, phasing, and constructability considerations.
• Experience with civil design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent).
