Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess credit applications submitted by customers.
  • Analyze financial statements, bank references, trade references, and credit reports.
  • Conduct credit risk assessments and recommend credit limits and payment terms.
  • Monitor existing customer accounts and identify potential credit risks.
  • Evaluate customer payment histories and credit trends.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and other departments regarding customer credit matters.
  • Prepare credit evaluation reports and recommendations for management approval.
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records and documentation.
  • Follow up on outstanding information required for credit assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in periodic reviews of customer credit limits and account statuses.
  • Support collection activities when required by providing credit-related insights.

Qualifications And Experience

  • High school / Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in credit analysis, credit evaluation, finance, or a related role.
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and assessing credit risk.
  • Knowledge of credit management principles and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
