Credit Analyst Job Description Core Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Assess credit risk and determine the likelihood of repayment
- Review credit history and financial data
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments
- Recommend approval or rejection of loan/credit applications
- Set credit limits and terms based on risk analysis
- Monitor existing accounts for changes in financial condition
- Stay updated on economic trends and industry risks
