Role Description

The Senior Credit Analyst will evaluate SME creditworthiness, assess financial data, analyze business viability, and make informed recommendations on loan approvals. They will also contribute to the development of data-driven underwriting models, and ensure compliance with risk management protocols. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a balanced credit portfolio while supporting the financial needs of SME clients.

Key Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience as a credit underwriter in SME lending with a fintech or digital first lender
• 3+ years of UAE SME Lending exposure
• Strong Communication skills to articulate insights and collaborate with stakeholders effectively
• Familiarity with SQL, financial modeling and data analysis tools is a plus
• Educational qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field is highly desirable
• Strong experience in cashflow-based and Banking surrogate lending products
