Its consultancy, design, project management and asset management services cover the entire life cycle of assets (design, construction, operation). The Group also handles global contracts and turnkey projects.

Artelia has strong ambition in KSA and has established an operating entity in Riyadh along with a Regional HQ as per KSA regulations. Our group needs a Leader to grow the business covering the five domains with priority to existing business.

Position Overview:

The Country Director is responsible for overseeing the company's operations in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a strong focus on business development at the beginning. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and driving growth initiatives to ensure the company's success in the local market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
• Develop and implement country-specific strategies aligned with the company's global objectives and Artelia Middle East Strategy.
• Identify and assess market opportunities to drive business growth.
• Business Development:
• Lead efforts to expand the company’s client base, focusing on new business opportunities and market penetration.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and pipeline, stakeholders, and strategic partners.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
• Lead proposals, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts and projects and achieve the country order intake target.
• Operational Management:
• Work closely with domains leaders to insure our projects are delivered as per Artelia’ standards and at client satisfaction.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all functions.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation and project management.
• Team Leadership:
• Lead key recruitments, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on achieving our growth objectives.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, initiatives, and accountability within the team.
• Financial Oversight:
• In collaboration with Domains leaders, prepare and manage the country budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to drive decision-making and improvements.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role with a strong business development focus in the engineering industry.
• Strong understanding of the local market and regulatory environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
• Good practice of P&L parameters.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of successful client acquisition and relationship management.
