Assistant Counter Salesman at a provider of hardware, building materials, and construction materials.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the counter with product information and suggestions based on their requirements.
- Maintain the cash register and process sales transactions.
- Sort and stock merchandise and monitor inventory levels.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
Experience and skills
- At least one year of hardware and building materials experience is required.
- Sales experience is preferred, particularly in hardware or building materials.
- Good knowledge of hardware and construction materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle customer queries efficiently.
- Proficiency using cash registers.
