Role overview
Branch head responsible for branch operations and sales growth in KSA.
Operations management
- Oversee day-to-day branch operations and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Monitor inventory, manage procurement, and implement quality-control measures.
- Coordinate timely product deliveries to clients.
- Manage branch staff and provide training and development.
Business development
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients; maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
- Research industry trends and competitor activity.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance goals.
- Prepare and present proposals, sales pitches, and contracts; maintain sales, client, and project records.
- Coordinate promotional strategies with marketing and attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Skills and qualifications
- Proven operations management and business development experience in hardware, building materials, construction items, and machine tools.
- Strong Middle East market understanding, especially KSA.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business development tools.
- Valid KSA driving license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred attributes
- Two years of building materials experience is preferred.
- Proactive, self-motivated, commercially minded, and attentive to detail, with problem-solving ability.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively; willing to travel across the Middle East as required.
