Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Follow Kempinski policies and procedures and its code of conduct.
• Spot-check receiving, delivery accuracy, culinary yields and wastage, recipes, costs, sale prices, and preparation compliance.
• Check material use and dosage in housekeeping, laundry, and stewarding; verify bar recipes and portion standards.
• Audit market lists, seasonal items, inventory movements, and stock accuracy against perpetual inventory and current demand.
• Document findings and recommendations, prepare monthly cost reports, and report invoice discrepancies or other potential problems.
• Assist in other accounting areas and perform additional duties assigned by management.

Skills and competencies

• Handle high volumes with attention to detail and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Build effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients or vendors.
• Demonstrate strong organization and time management and work safely and systematically.
• Use computer and office equipment; proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
• Know generally accepted accounting principles and local regulations; accounting software experience is a plus.
• Act professionally, confidentially, and ethically.
